Greg Rouse' martial arts experience reaches all the way back
into his early childhood.  Greg Rouse was born in Queens, New
York but grew up in California.  Upon completing the seventh
grade at Will C. Woods Junior High School in Vacaville, California
Mr. Rouse's family moved to Fort Worth, Texas.  After graduating
high school Greg immediately moved back to California where,
shortly after, he joined the U. S. Army for military service.
Mr. Rouse began his studies in Japanese Karate in California in 1979.  His family traveled a lot
across the nation, so when he joined the military in 1989 he was already accustomed to constant
moving.  This proved to be an enabler and not a hindrance as the world was opened to him.  He
continued more training in Japanese martial arts while on temporary duty in Japan.  However, it
wasn't until he became acquainted with Master Kim (6th Degree) in South Korea that he grew to
love the Korean martial style.  He had studied Taekwondo before, but while under Master Kim's
leadership he was introduced to the art of Korean Hapkido.

Once again Mr. Rouse was moved by military orders and returned to the States eventually
making his way back to Texas where he left military service and settled in Fort Worth.  Here Mr.
Rouse found Master Terry Avery, whom quickly became his mentor.  Through his connection
with Master Avery did his relationship with Grandmaster Park take root.

Since his humble beginnings; starting over as a white belt with Master Avery in 2000, Mr. Rouse
has gained his 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and opened his own school here in Fort
Worth.  We invite you to learn more of Mr. Rouse's
