Again With The Banging:
Nothing doing for us this time...
July 25, 2008 - Greg Rouse
We wont have to take much concern with the work that will be starting up. This time the construction will
be taking place in another room. It just so happens that more maintenance and facility upgrades are in
order. Across the hall from our where our Taekwondo program holds it sessions is where John Subphamitra
teaches his Karate classes. In that very room is where the remodeling will take place.
So please be aware that the work may spill over a little into the hallway. We wish that you take extra
care and pay close attention to your environment as you manuever between your destinations. Let's all be
patient with the Karate Academy as they will have to move around from room to room to hold their classes.
The Karate school will be meeting in our room on Mondays during their regularly
scheduled sessions. CFTI will be given
priority over the room so we will not have to
move around ourselves. The conflict that
may occur between our two schools using
the same room is that one night every week
we hold sessions at the same time.
With this in mind, I have been told
that the Karate Academy will have to hold
their class in a less than convenient amount
of space.
The main reason for this announcement is that once the maintenance is over and the Subphamitra
Karate Academy students are given back the use of their room; we will be making adjustments to our
schedule. These changes will not take place until after the reconstruction is completed. In the meantime, the
Karate Academy's equipment and training gear will be kept in our room. Please do not misuse this property.
Let us make sure that they get their property back in the same condition in which it was left. Showing the
same respect for their equipment that we have for our own; we ask that you do not climb, sit, or use this
equipment in an improper fashion.
Once again, it is important that you keep in mind that once the construction is over we will be moving our
Wednesday Night classes to Monday Nights. Thanks so much for your understanding and cooperation.
Let's be kind to our neighbors and show the same respect we would want in return.
Thank you.
