Family Support:
We thank our families.

Parties and celebrations are wonderful.  They are satisfying and most times, a whole lot of fun.  I think it is
important to take time out from our busy schedules and have a little leisure fun.  I believe we should do this
often while enjoying the company of those who share like ideas and goals.  Our school has only had a couple
of events like this so far.

Most things like that take a lot of preparation.  There are birthday parties, milestone celebrations
and many of
you may remember our Black Belt Promotion party.
We took some time to recognize and congratulate all of
our black belt awardees.  Some of you didn't see all of the efforts that went into it,
though.  Of course I'm not
just referring to the party
, even in all of its splendor.

The party  was great.  We had a wonderful turnout.  But you would not know that all of the items we saw there
were donated by our family members.  The food, decorations and all the time it took to set it up was
volunteered to us.  They didn't have to do it.  But aren't we so glad that they did.  Special thanks goes out to
Sushila Shresthra for providing the majority of what we had to eat and see.  And another special thanks goes
out to Tamika Prince for the excellent cake.  If it had not been for their participation this celebration would not
have been so grand.

But there is so much more to recognize and give thanks for our families than just a great party.  We would
have to take into consideration all of the time, effort and support our families gave all along the way.  I believe
that we are entitled to party because we put in the work.  You all should trust me when I say achieving your
black belt promotion is no easy picnic.  Thanks to all the family who help get us to class and those who help
out during class and even those who join the class.  Thanks to all the brothers who put up with us trying our
'new moves' out on them to see if they really work.  Thanks to all our fathers who practice with us away from
class.  And a very big thanks to all those parents who pay our tuition so that we can take this time out to
improve ourselves.

I have to say that I am even more appreciative as the instructor to all the family members who help enforce
what is taught in our sessions.  And for helping out and volunteering as often as they do.  As a chief instructor
this is a great relief for me.

Thanks to all of you Family, Friends and Students alike.  We are building excellent communities.
